Clearly visible….
It is striking to us what a difference windows and doors make; they add a real sense of “home”. We are excited to finally see the showcase window in the upper peak and can’t wait for the last window to be installed in the peak of the garage. We noticed a hairline fracture in the front door, but it’s being taken care of so no worries. This is the first time you get to see the full roofline including the wraparound deck… we love it!! Too bad Bill is feeling ill today (so no huge smiles in these photos

Wow… You couldn’t really get a feeling for the size of the place until the windows and doors were put in. I love the showcase window! It’s going to be a gorgeous house!

Hey you guys!
Had a great visit last weekend. It’s amazing what can be accomplished in just a few days! I’m sitting here at work (2:45am) looking at the blog and am amazed at how gorgeous the house looks.
I got the week of August 14th off for my summer vacation. Did you need to consult me for colors/decor for my bedroom?
I talked to Jen yesterday and she said her foundation was being poured this week. She’s hoping for a July closing
We just had our driveway excavated Wednesday. It’s going to be gravel for a few weeks then they will return to complete it. Ahhhh! The smell of hot asphalt! I’ll send photos when I figure out how to use my new camera software.
Thanks again for a wonderful visit. I can’t believe it’s been 9 years since our last visit.
Love, Anne

Steph… can’t wait to have you over for a BBQ and a play date!
Anne… it was so great to see all of you - I can’t believe it’s been so long since your last visit either! It was really awesome to see you all again! Just e-mail me the colors you’d like in your room for your visit in August - I’ll see what we can do
Jen - good luck with your house!

Hey, what about my room?! How many rooms will you have anyways?!
The interior of our new house will be one color - “Clay Beige.” Since they wanted a ridiculous amount of money to paint rooms different colors, we figured that we’ll keep the majority of the house clay beige (especially the 2 story foyer area!) and then eventually paint a couple of the smaller areas (bedrooms, baths). So, as long as you don’t mind staying in the clay beige guestroom, you’re welcome anytime. You’ll just have to wait until the house is completed, but by then, your house will be done and you won’t want to leave it!
Just wait until winter… then you’ll be calling me! (I’d place a smiley face here, but I’m a little slow on the uptake - just notice there was a place for comments!)
