Movin’ on up…
We couldn’t resist leaving work early today to go see the progress.
We made a pitstop at the flooring place and made some headway on flooring decisions. We think we’ll go with mill run sand and finish ash throughout the main floor and stairways and a rustic grad throughout the upper floor. We’ve picked a cork floor for the kitchen called Burl Western Saddle, but we’ll have to see a sample of that next to the cabinets before we make a final decision because it is quite dark. The tricky part will be to choose entry way and bathroom tiles from the hundreds of choices available!
We arrived “home” - or arrived to at least half a home! It’s amazing to us how fast they work! Guess we had best get busy picking out those taps and light fixtures!
