The continuing saga…
Long story short, needless to say, all plans have changed!
We met with Shawn’s team this morning and hashed over our options - none of which really seemed very pleasant. We’re still going forward with the house, but the septic is now located at the front of the lot (yes, uphill) which means we’ll have a pumping station to lift our “crap”. That means that the house can move back closer to the lake, but apparently not on a nice flat plateau, so we’ve flipped the house plans and put the garage on the left (uphill) side of the house to avoid the driveway dropoff and the infill. What a debacle! It’s still going to cost $10,000 extra! 
Take a look at the new plans… it’s very wierd for us to see an entire house flipped - everything seems backwards. Before we sign anything, we want to meet with Scott tomorrow about doors, siding, shingles and fixtures to find out what other overages we can expect…
